Publish mstsc.exe as a seamless published application on server 2022 with 2402 VDA with shellbridge enabled. When closing the seamless App mstsc.exe the process is left running on the VDA and session doesnt log off gracefully . I kill mstsc.exe from task manager from the session and the session logs off gracefully. I was always under the impression it wasnt a good idea to add a published seamless app to the logoffchecksysmodules key so reluctant to add mstsc.exe to it. I am just reviewing the logoffchecksysmodules key and according to this article wfshell.exe should be added by default on a hard coded list or does it have to be added manually ? when i fired up process explorer the parent process of mstsc.exe is wfshell.exe https://support.citrix.com/s/article/CTX891671-graceful-logoff-from-a-published-application-renders-the-session-in-active-state?language=en_US does anyone else have wfshell.exe in the logoffchecksysmodules key? I am not on latest VDA version so cant use the new HKCU\Software\CitrixVolatile\Seamless\Sessions\[ID]\LogoffCheckerBlockingProcess key to find the processes preventing the log off

I saw this earlier with server 2022 and VDA 2402 but not anymore. I think is was fixed with CU1.

you ever find a fix for this? Noticing similar behavior with 2411 VDA on Server 2025
