We're seeing Teams randomly crash - as in the Teams application will suddenly disappear for users, with no errors. We've turned off teams autoupdate, but it seems to still happen. Anyone seen anything similar? Tried updating teams, but no luck. Running 2402 LTSR CU1 VDA.
But we're seeing this in the event viewer application logs when it happens - strange. - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft Teams VDI - EventID 0 [ Qualifiers] 0 Version 0 Level 2 Task 0 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2025-02-24T093406.4144910Z EventRecordID 8679 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 0 [ ThreadID] 0 Channel Application Computer terminalserver.domain - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-21-839522115-2000478354-2147104195-6606 - EventData

Yes. I'm seeing the same. But I just thought it had something to do with trying to install SlimCore, and I'm connecting from a mac: - EventData {"properties":{"install_error":"{\"val\":2003,\"cat\":\"PluginError\"}","load_error":"{\"val\":2003,\"cat\":\"PluginError\"}","optss_state":"1","platform":"mac-x64","rd_client_version":"24.11.10.9","vdi_vendor":"1","vm_version":"7.43.100"},"timestamp":1740386122344,"event_name":"connected"}

I see. For us the OS doesn't seem to matter, it happens both for Windows OS and Linux OS endpojnts, i think.

Is this happening when disconnecting and reconnecting the session?
p
No, it happens while users are signed in. It’ll just randomly close without any warning or errors. It seems to happen more often for certain users, but I haven’t been able to spot any obvious patterns
@Daniel Madsen Did you ever figure out this issue in your environment? We're still having the same issue and i'm running a bit out of ideas. Everything seems to be correct when looking at Microsofts recommendations for the configuration.

@Patrick Nordmyr unfortunately, I haven't worked with the customer since. So my guess is, they got it working or I did a piss-poor job 🙂
