Currently have SNMP V2 configured via community string / SNMP Trap destinations / SNMP Manager configuration. I am looking at moving to SNMP V3 due to some security scans flagging up V1/2. I took a quick look and it seems quite a bit different to V2. It seems like you have to configure a SNMP View which is used for access control , SNMP Group which allows authentication and encryption and is linked to the view and finally a User linked to the Group. My question is when creating the SNMP View it seems like you have to add the OID do you only add specific OID's or is there a generic top level OID that includes everything ? I found the below article which lists the OIDs for everything https://developer-docs.netscaler.com/en-us/adc-snmp-oid-reference/current-release.html#system
Netscaler Console > ADC instances seemed simply enough i just created a new Admin profile using SNMP V3 with security name , security level, auth type and it rediscovered the instances and it reconfigured SNMP V3 and configured the SNMP V3 View/Group/User/Trap destination automatically
