Patch Tuesday: We built new MCS Master Images for Windows Server 2019/2022 yesterday. Today the test group for 2019 reports, that TeamsV2 is missing from the published Desktop. I can confirm, that with Teams 24335.208.3315.1951 the dism install command fails:
Dism /Online /Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage /PackagePath:<MSIX package path> /SkipLicense
Copy code
$UnattendedArgs = "/Online /Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage /PackagePath:$Source /SkipLicense"
(Start-Process "DISM.exe" $UnattendedArgs -Wait -NoNewWindow -Passthru).ExitCode
Exit Code: 15606
Anybody else having problems installing Teams 2 on Windows Server 2019 Build 17763.6775?

I have the same issue.

Thank you very much, then it seems to be an issue with the MSIX package itself.

So much fun with Teams...

We are going to downgrade all Windows Server 2019 CVAD MCS images to 24295.605.3225.8804 temporary.

Maybe a little QA would help?

Is there a link to download previous versions of Teams MSIX?
r
curious when this will be resolved
s
Still not resolved. We just had an installation of TeamsV2 self destroy on a static 2019 VDA due to auto update being enabled, i suppose.

On 12.02.2025 we will re-build our CVAD 2019 Master Images for Patch Tuesday. Does anybody know the current state of the issue?

Thanks a lot @Markus Zehnle! Evergreen also reports the version. No somebody has to try, if it works as promised :-D
