Yes, VMware with external arrays that are encrypted. In vCenter, not using encryption.

That's how we were, encrypted volumes at the SAN (Nimble/Alletra AF 6030). We're giving VM Encryption at the vSphere level and are curious about possible i/o tax impacting performance. Typical metrics that would be pointing to i/o starvation (vSphere storage latency, queue depth in guest, SAN level volume latency) all look good...but it definitely "feels" like i/o starvation.

On the compute side we are HPe Synergy. It took forever but HPe finally admitted their CNA firmware for ESXi had a bug. Win11 exposed it when LLDP Protocol was left active on the networking adapter.
