Anyone see this with 2203 ltsr newest CU. I have a delivery group with 4-5 users on every machine...load index around 120....so everything good... But no additional user can logon ... they see only desktop cannot started... In the event log on the storefront i see the message, no available workstation 😵 😵 😵 😵

Energy status issues?
d
What do u mean ? The machines are up and running. It’s like anyone say that this machine is full. But the load index is totally low
c
I have seen this in an environment where there were problems with the energy status of the machines, they were set to Unknown. Do you work with tags when assigning VMs?
d
No tags. And all the machines are flagged as on.
😵
c
Okay, that's weird.

Yep totally strange

Maybe a problem with a policy to manage the load ?
We had a similary problem with WorkspaceApp authentication with SSO but on 2203 CU1 and the main cause was because Microsoft disabled MPR notifications on Windows 11 24h2. In this case, I saw similary errors in storefront logs.
d
all load evaluator policies are not configureg-> default
l
I have one customer in 2203 CU5 and don(t have these problems.
d
i have several customers on the same level, without this problem.....

I have this issue with my Storefront servers for some reason being out of whack, and reboots addressed it. Is there a netscaler in front of storefront? You may want to flush the cache in the integrated caching, and also update the Storefront to the latest version. Can no one hit the machines? Or just certain users? Adjust the Load Balancing settings, just in case the defaults are for some reason not applying correctly. Like set the total number of users, and total number of concurrent logins. Along with setting the ram and cpu to 90%
l
Its not a licensing issue is it? Not having enough licenses to allow additional logins? If its gone to grace before, and that expired, it would be hard enforced. Ive never hit that, so I dont know how it responds
d
All stuff is licensed but i see that the WinStationsDisabled are set to 1
l
When looking in director, is everything good with the license status? Not sure of the size of the env but if you have a small one, only 20 licenses and hit 21 users at some point, it would go to supplemental grace period. Once that expires, youd have a hard limit of 20
until you add more licenses
d
No issues there
they got the maintenance message and then the key is in place...
