Is there a way to set MPX or SDX hardware to auto-power on if they lose and then regain power? Looking at DR scenarios for hardware in the event of power loss.

I am thinking no, as there is the toggle switch on the appliance that needs to be pressed. I cannot recall a BIOS setting.
I don't have a hardware appliance to play with and check.

That works to turn them on, but we are looking for an automated process.

yeah, understood.. was just wondering if there would be a knob inside LOM to do that

Pretty sure our mpx pair turned on automatically after we lost all power in our datacenter a while back. I didn't turn them on atleast.

You would typical have dual power supplies (PSU's) on the Netscaler MPX going into Dual Rack PDU's with each PDU connected to independent Power sources and you then have UPS's and Generators it would be pretty rare to lose power nowadays in a modern well managed datacenter

The MPX appliances will return to their previous power state after loss of power - if they were on before the loss of power they will be on when power is restored. There is no setting for this that I am aware of.
