Anyone know where the hell these Citrix profiles are coming from when running Get-XDCredentials? I clear them out and they automatically reappear 20 minutes later.
r
They are new the sdk creates them
n
ugh, so there's no way for me to rid myself of them? Gonna have to edit all of my damn scripts now. 😞
r
Why?
n
I have a number of scripts that just roll through all profiles. Since these are now listed, I get prompted to login for each. My own fault for not limiting the profile type to Api, but I never saw these new profiles until now.
r
Arent you just using the same one you were using before
n
Yeah, but use this for an example:
$Profiles = (Get-XDCredentials -ListProfiles).ProfileName
ForEach ($Profile in Profiles) {
do stuff
}
lol, I can't do a Where to limit them in that cmdlet? Nice
r
I would probably use a txt or csv gor that profiles could be missing or extra. But you could exclude by name.

I can get around it by doing something dumb like
Copy code
$Profiles = Get-XDCredentials -ListProfiles
$Profiles = ($Profiles | Where { $_.ProfileType -eq "CloudApi" }).ProfileName
r
yes
n
Apparently can also do something even dumber like this:
$Profiles = (Get-Credentials -ListProfiles | Select -Expand SyncRoot | Where { $_.ProfileType -eq "CloudApi" }).ProfileName
r
ar you the only one running the script
i wodl be worried tat someone woudl make other profiles
n
Yeah, these are my personal scripts
r
oh ok
then you have control
n
Always
Just annoyed that I had to spend time figuring this out. 🙂
