I’m setting up Direct Workload Connection (DWC) for Citrix Workspace and need some advice. The workload is running on-premises in the customers HQ. We have users in HQ and branch offices connected via VPN, and DWC works fine for them. However, we also have home office users connected via client VPN in split tunnel mode, routing internet traffic through their local internet connection. Since the VPN latency is below 10 ms, we want to use DWC for these home users too. This would mean either adding their public IPs to network locations or changing the split tunnel configuration to route all internet traffic through the HQ WAN. Are my assumptions correct, or am I missing something? Do you have any suggestions on the best approach?

Your assumptions are pretty much on point. DWC is great but config wise has some challenges/limitations You might want to look at HDX direct instead? It’s currently in preview but should tick the boxes to simplify your config https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-daas/hdx-transport/hdx-direct.html same end result, more flexibility and less manual input

Careful with HDX Direct, there's an ongoing issue when Language Packs are installed on the target VDA, where the connection just fails. Would recommend to wait for GA ;)

Thanks James, HDX direct would really help in that case! But I guess we'll wait until it's GA, thx for the input @Steven Lemonier
The customer said, that he'd like modify the split tunnel configuration so that all connections to DaaS are routed through the HQ. What URLs do we need to route then? I guess *.nssvc.net should be enough?
