New PVS server 2022 image i am testing i am getting the PVS status tray icon in notifcation /system tray area on the endpoint with CWA next to clock and it shows in connection center. In past i have used the seamlessflags 0x20 reg key to hide tray icons and used the key hklm\software\citrix\ProvisioningServices\StatusTray\Showicon to specifically hide the PVS tray icon. I am trying to figure out how it was hidden on the old server 2016 PVS image and i dont see either of those options being used which is confusing me anyone know of other ways ?

Maybe in HKCU? That's how I hide it.

nope had a look at various user profiles on a 2016 VDA and i dont see it set in HKCU\software\citrix\ProvisioningServices\StatusTray\Showicon either

its like the seamless flags key has been set on the 2016 image but i dont see the reg key for it !!! HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Citrix/wfshell/TWI Value Name: SeamlessFlags

nothing for the PVS statustray in wow64node in HKLM or HKCU i dont think the Seamless flags key exists in wow6432node as its in HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\citrix\wfshell\TWI

I would had been very surprised if you had found anything here ... just in case. Weird. Maybe check with AutoRun, I think the PVS systray is started at logon.
