Hidiho, I have a little question. I don’t remember for what is the pvsvm folder on the writecache disk, if I use pvs
r
If memory serves me right it’s was information for the vm including details of the VM. It’s been a while for me as well. But I believe that’s it. Should be a small folder size too.
d
It’s around 10 gb 😅 😅 😅 😅
r
Oh, hmmm I thought it was supposed to be small
What’s inside it? Probably files that are unreadable?
d
No permission to look inside. But this is my next step
n
It's definitely supposed to be small. Be interested to hear what winds up being in there.

All I can find is: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/provisioning/7-15/whats-new/fixed-issues.html ...the persistent data location (d:\pvsvm).
d
LOL I take a look at the folder and it’s only kb in there. All folders and files on the writecache are 1,5 gb but the disk tell me that 15 gb is full. 😵 😵 😵
w
I no longer have PVS in my lab (what's left of it), so could the disk be fat-provisioned instead of thin-provisioned?

@Deyda I know this is an old post. Silly question, are you sure the gb difference on the D drive is not caused by the hidden windows page file? d:\pvsvm should only have a file or 2 with some kb in size...
