Can someone help me validate i'm not fucking crazy here? I downloaded ServerVDA from https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-virtual-apps-and-desktops/product-software/citrix-virtual-apps-and-desktops-2203ltsr-cu4-all-editions.html. Multi-session OS VDA 2203 CU4 Update 1... Hashes MATCH... installed (on Server 2022) with tags /components vda /disableexperiencemetrics /enable_hdx_ports /enable_hdx_udp_ports /exclude "Citrix Telemetry Service","AppDisks VDA Plug-in","Personal vDisk","Citrix Files for Windows","Citrix Files for Outlook" /logpath c:\windows\temp /quiet /virtualmachine Here's where it gets weird... it fails with ... "Server VDI cannot be installed if Windows Remote Desktop Service Roles are installed." Also says: XenDesktopSetup:OS Installation Type Server detected. XenDesktopSetup:This is a supported Workstation VDA OS.' So, i'm thinking this is actually the WORKSTATION VDA improperly uploaded to Citrix ???

What happens if you just install from the gui installer

So i tried on server 2022 in my lab and it installs normally. So not sure what was up for you. Could be a policy I guess.

No. But fyi the pvdisk stuff is no longer in the product so you can skip that snd appdisk

I got a weird error that i think was similar. I was doing an upgrade though and had left the /components vda switch in there and i was getting this error. But you got that same error clicking on the exe correct and you were doing a new install right?

Try the upgrade without the /component vda switch and see how it goes.
