Shared Mailboxes mapped to a users account - Citrix - anyone encountered an issue where the users outlook client within citrix would not delete content from a shared mailbox?
We have confirmed permissions, etc, and this activity on a nonvdi session works without incident. If anyone has any feedback much appreciated

mmm... I had an episode recently where it took almost a day. Shared mailbox was full of years of old mails that was being cleared out by the hundreds of thousands and it literally took a day.
We thought it wasn't deleting because.. well the UI isn't particularly helpful. Didn't throw errors, just didn't really update numbers until done.

Assuming these are on-prem VDI/non-VDI to on-prem Exchange.
Are the Outlook/MAPI configs apples to apples configs?
ie.
I'd assume the VDI sessions are configured for cached mode, are the nonvdi sessions the same?
What about Outlook config; Animations enabled/disabled on both VDI and non-vdi?
Server side:
Are they in the same site or would there be any FE/BE calculation/namespace traversal?
If different sites, are CAS endpoints scaled the same for where the VDI session would negotiate the FE connection for the shared MBX access?

OnPrem VDI WS2019 / latest m365 suite connecting to Exchange Online.
I don't have much visibility into their m365 exchange config, but I am assuming, for the most part, it's nothing unique - pretty standard stuff.
