does binding a responder policy to a content switching virtual server work?
j
Yes, as long as the policy selector doesn't match any of the other csw policies. I have a responder policy on a port 80 CSW vserver to redirect all traffic to the port 443 CSW vserver.

I couldn’t get it to apply at all, even setting the expression to true and the action to reset
was trying to do a hostname redirect
j
go ahead and share your code and we can take a look

it works if I bind it to the gateway directly, but these gateways have cs vs in front of them so thought I should do it there
the content switching server just has an expression of is_vpn_url
and then sends it to the gateway
basically just
add responder action Redirect-Action redirect “\”https://abc.com\“” -responseStatusCode 302
add responder policy Redirect-Policy “HTTP.REQ.HOSTNAME.EQ(\“example.com\“)” Redirect-Action
ah ok, the CS policy will always take precedence because of the packet processing flow

so I’ll just do it on the gateways
j
Yup, that is what I was going to say.
