Anyone have a clue where the new Teams location is at for the Start menu? I looked all over and can't seem to pin point it yet.

MS knows but they ain’t telling. Which is awesome for those situations where auto launch is disabled because MS won’t show any teams icons anywhere until it’s launched one time. But you can’t launch it because no icons… 🐓 🥚

@Joe Miller i suppose you are trying to hide it from user?

Yes, that is what I meant sorry. I want to roll it out to certain users only for now. But looks like it global in the start menu. Thanks @Carl Stalhood for that information.

Probably in the CLSID location in the registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID
Actually, it may be possible. But not certain. "In your manifest, go to the VisualElements element and add the attribute
AppListEntry="none"
." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/schemas/appxpackage/uapmanifestschema/element-uap-visualelements
Remove Teams 2 Start menu Link I posted that I wasn't not 100% if it works or not, but I posted the link above a couple weeks ago. Looks like this can be done. I have not vetted this, but see this post here. They followed this approach as well, or seems that way https://www.koetzingit.de/index.php/en/blog-en/238-procedure-for-setting-up-the-new-microsoft-teams-on-the-windows-2022-platform
