Is there any way for Helpdesk to see the Name of the MCS snapshot in use for a machine catalog? (2203.3000) My snapshots always have the date from their creation in their name, and customers often ask, how old the current image is. I always have to look at Studio for them, as it doesn't seem to be visible in Director. Is there any way for Helpdesk to tell, besides Studio or PowerShell?

You can rename your machine catalog to include the date and you will see it in Director. I can't really see another way via Director.

One of my clients has added a process to their arming script to put a text file on the c:\ of the image with the date and what was done in it specifically for this type of tracking.

@jvitech That won't work for me, as I use the Machine Catalog names as variables in my deployment scripts. I would break that and I have no intention of rebuilding that part today 😄 @Jeff Riechers Thank you for that idea, but I prefer a Director based solution. But you two brought me on the right track. I found a "hidden" Description field, only reachable via PowerShell, that is not visible in Studio, but in Director! There I can print the name of the snapshot, which contains always a date stamp and that solves all my issues.
