Curious on somthing, for the new teams. I have not dug into it all the way. Do you guys remove it off the golden image, and reinstall it for what is considered upgrades? Meaning nothing with classic teams only new Teams. Remove the bootstrap -x reboot, and reinstall a updated version with -p?

Teams 2.1 doesn't require uninstall and reinstall like Teams 1.x did. You can just rerun the bootstrapper -p over itself and it will install any updated binaries.

The only component linked to new Teams that can be uninstalled and reinstalled during an update is the Outlook addin.

UWP apps typically end up with multiple versions installed after a few upgrades, but I haven’t tested yet with the new Teams.
However, here’s a Teams 2.0 install script which does uninstall any previous version before installing the new version: https://gist.github.com/aaronparker/a1af077b46505f48e7b09d3d6fdfcdcd
