I dont see other data like folders and user dat as in the primary version. Am I missing a simple config? cheers

permissions are good? Did you try to log off and log back on one more time.

Thanks mate. There was a perms issue to begin with but the client fixed that. I will re-test shorty and feedback. The initial perms issue was completely blocking anything from being created. I had a look at what they have set and it look fine.

Still jacked. Tried deleting. Theres another 2 internal IT team tested. They have what I have above, but they also have the UPMsettings file. I'll do some more digging.

Weird. All I had to make it work was to enable replicate user store and set the path.

Im wondering if its a policy conflict.. the prod UMP policy (Set in Citrix policy) is set for all users.. the new one is a duplicate but has the replica setting... this has been targeted to a single test DG but is set to have a higher priority...
There is also another test policy targeted to the new DG is the remote location, the profile path is set to local with the replica set back to the source (current prod)

I use GPO for this, UPM log should tell you what's wrong.

Not seeing much in the logs, will put fresh ayes on today. Interestingly, I create a replica test share on prem. That worked and populated the entire UPM profile. The target replica is an FSx AWS share. The source has the wrong permissions... its not locked down. The new AWS share has been fixed, my thinking was UPM is trying to copy the wide open perms to the new share which doesnt support. Im going to ask the admin to open the AWS share to match (albeit wrong) to see if thats the issue...
Also noting the test on prem replica share was set up identical (wrong) to match the source, cheers
Removed the replica (back to onprem) on the new AWS build and hit the new env with the single path to store set for the AWS FSx share and the UPM profile creates fine.. frustratingly weird!
