is that for you or everyone in the region? there is nothing on the status site
m
I have no idea. I just woke up. It's a small customer with 25 users, and they can't work. I also checked the Status Page, and everything is green, as you say. We are from Germany with an EU tenant.
n
interesting....ill keep checking

The severity 1 telephone number is not picking up^^

usually not a good sign
Status is still green though

So by now I have a Sev1 case and I’m on call with Citrix Support.
Customer still can’t login to DaaS Standard
Waiting for an Escalation Engineer
It suddenly started working again 45 minutes ago.
The Escalation Engineer changed nothing.
He said another customer from Norway hat the excat same issue, with the same start and end time, as our issue. Both customers use Azure AD as identity provider.
The Escalation Engineer suspects an Azure AD issue from Microsoft, but was unsure.

@Marco Hofmann bleibt ein ungutes Gefühl. da müssten dahinter ja aber schon Logfiles sein, da muss ja was droppen!?

I'm still waiting for the report from the Escalation Engineer. AFAIK I don't have access to any of the logs, that would've been of help.

What was the outcome?

Fingerpointing. (I don’t if this is a real English word?^^)
And as we saw yesterday the users were contacting Azure West for the time period of the failures and Azure North when the issue had resolved itself. My current theory is that Microsoft is making a change in the Azure West region and causing an issue for specific customers.
Also as I mentioned we had another customer report the same issue as you yesterday for the same period and their environment seems to have a lot in common with yours. They also are not using Cloud connectors, Rendezvous protocol, Azure AD, and Azure non-domain VDAs. To my knowledge there are not a lot of customers with this specific config, which would be why the issue is not more widespread.
Would you be able to contact Microsoft and get their input on this issue, hopefully their logs will be able to shed more light on the cause of the issue.
I hate it when anybody says: ask MS. This always feels like you will definitely never get an answer.

The blame game between cloud providers makes a lot of sense if you think about it, though. Same as the network team blaming the storage team for virtual machine performance issues inside most orgs 😜
