This started last night on our NetScalers and when I remove the IP address as a manager it returns a few minutes later, but nothing is logged for the change.
j
Yes, happened to both our HA pairs around 1:45 AM CT. Nothing in the logs - just shows up in the config. Did ADM do it?
d
No ADM here.
j
We have on-prem and cloud ADM as well as SolarWinds. We're on NS 13.1 49.15.
d
ours were 23:52 and 00:02 Pacific the first time.
I say we have no ADM, but I went and checked and there still is something checked that may play here. I have disabled this in one pair and am waiting to see if there is a change.
This is looking promising. 20 minutes and no SNMP manager re-addition. Thanks for the clue...hopefully this is it.
Another good indication...my 14.1 test instance already had the checkbox unchecked and did not experience the same SNMP manager change.

Whew - thanks for sharing. Always glad to hear it's not just me 🙂

I really appreciate the clue on where to look, and also that it wasn't just me. I honestly thought I had all the call home / ADM stuff disabled. I know they try to turn it back on with every upgrade, so I may have missed it at some point. Thanks again!

The timestamp on /var/mastools matches the timing of the "incident" on each pair. We also have a test instance that wasn't impacted and does not have that ADM Low Touch Onboard ENABLED, matching what you saw.

Hi, I had the same now on an 13.1 50.23 HA pair. It removed the existing entry for the SNMP Manager an put the NSIP of the primary one into it.
