Yep, if you are using mcs then auto update of controllers kicks in and will be populated, you can turn it off via policy

we are not using mcs. These are aws instances. we create instances and add manually to citrix.

Same same - policy talks to mcs but I always disabled it regardless as auto update was a pain if you are hard coding registration

we did not apply any policy for that. You mean there is a policy which is enabled by default for listing out all ddcs?

Yes, it’s a policy to disable the behaviour rather than enable it - look for auto update controllers or something like that

The list of ddcs only tells the vda which ddc to contact to get the full list. All ddcs are used for registration
