Have changed MAC addresses through Citrix XenCenter without issue in the past. Requires a restart of the NS. Since you are dealing with mgmt NIC, I think you may also want to verify licensing. I know my licenses are tied to MAC address of the mgmt NIC, but not 100% that all licensing is done that way.

+1 validating with lmhostutil lmhostid post mac address change and then reallocating if need be

I would verify before changing though, so you can reallocate the license prior to changing the MAC address if possible.
