yea, it's almost dead in the water. and in addition they're deprecating some of the features soon.

I would look into Citrix UPM containers instead. If you are using published desktop, that is and the customer is using Citrix 🙂

It's actually impressive how quickly Microsoft managed to kill FSLogix since its acquisition.

This past year has been rough, but the choice to delay our next feature release was intentional due to some of the significant changes we decided to make. 1. Dropping support for 32bit OS 2. Dropping support for Server 2012 R2 3. Deprecating specific features (mostly due to accessibility issues and lack of usage) We wanted to ensure the customer base had enough time to understand and plan for these changes before ripping them out as we had to make strategic changes in the branching. The team has been hard at work for the next feature release while at the same time working to release functionality for Teams 2. Hoping to regain your trust and support in 2024.

@Jason Parker any ETA? 🙂

Depends on the bugs (none are FSL) being tracked for Server 2019. We have many teams involved trying to find the actual root cause. I would much rather release once with support for all systems, but we may be looking at a release with limited support for Windows 10, 11 and 2022 and no support for 2019.

Another reason to migrate customers from 2019 to 2022.

@Jason Parker that one 2019 Failure to instantiate storage folder with teams appears to be a real show stopper for many. We are stressing out about being forced to the new teams in 2 months knowing that FSlogix doesn't work with it at the moment. Thanks for working hard on it.

The synchronous logon change was a big one for multiple people that I know.

The Teams timeline decision is out of my control and agree it does seem very soon. Can't say for sure, but you can expect good things regarding GPO async very soon(tm)

@Jason Parker in the blog post it says "Looking for customers to help investigate and reproduce" How do you reach out if one doesnt have support contract. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/fslogix-blog/announcing-fslogix-2210-hotfix-3-preview-2-9-8716-30241/ba-p/4001561
