I had an extra interface with improper vlan configuration that pre-dated my upgrade from 13.0 to 13.1 (latest build). Turned out that after the upgrade I saw unplanned failovers for one of my HA pairs due to mac bridging and interface muting. Unknown why it was only showing up after the upgrade and not on another HA pair that had the same type of config but that's what happened. Resolved the interfaces issue and the failovers went away - but all the troubleshooting and advice is long established standard stuff.

But, from reading your message, it seems it was a wrong configuration that Netscaler didnt verify but was a included fix in the latest version and then broke your infra. But thats honestly on the configuration, not Citrix
