Have you checked the session policies yet?

Do you have && REQ.HTTP.HEADER Referer EXISTS in your session policy? Then remove that part
s
Thanks for your answers. Will check tomorrow morning and give feedback.
Good morning, now I have removed this && REQ.HTTP.HEADER Referer EXISTS in the Session Policy, but now the Storefront page is still not coming up, getting blank page with /cgi/login
k
What version of StoreFront are you running and on which version of Windows server?
s
1912 LTSR CU1 Storefont (1912.0.1000.17)- Windows Server 2016
k
that shouldn't be the issue then, I've seen on some 2012R2 servers that the newer release requires ciphers the 2012R2 doesn't support
likely it's a session policy thing... if it's possible you can try creating a new one with either classic expression "ns_true" or advanced "true" and replace the existing binding with that one (temporarily)
that way you should definitely get a hit on the policy and if it's still not working, there might be something wrong with the session profile
s
I have checked the hits on ssh and we are hitting the correct session policy so at the end the session policy might be the issue but not sure which of the settings is the one creating the issue as our 12.1 netsclaer is doing absolutely fine with this policy
k
doublecheck your session profile then
if you're load balancing your storefront and the session profile url is using fqdn, try to use one storefront server ip directly or the lb ip
narrow down the issue
s
Yes!! Changed the FQDN to IP Address and now store front is reachable an working. Will check why fqdn is not working but nevertheless Thanks very much for your hints - Very helpful!!!

you can run in cli
sh dns addrec fqdn
