06/21/2023, 7:27 AMI use IPs for only the DNS servers which I bundle up in an non-addressable LB VS, which I add in to the config and then use FQDNs for the additional servers. Ofc there might be DMZ Linux boxes /wo FQDN so those need to be added using IPs.

06/21/2023, 7:28 AMMore of a habit, the server IPs rarely change... one good approach might be to use FQDN in the name and IP for the actual server. This way you're able to grep stuff easily from the configs
