has been a while, is this one allocated on hostname or also MAC? I would take a look at your license date/expiration when you download the file, also take a look if your subscription is renewed, is this bought license or CSP one? And do you see the same behaviour on a 13.0 build?
c
They are CSP licenses. Have the same also with CSA license. I have allocated the license to the hostname. Subscription date is also ok in the license file. Problem exists only on 13.1. On 12.1 works without problems.
h
ouch, I think you might need to contact support to see what's going on. My understanding is that CSP can still deliver those licenses disregarding the EOL of all editions below advanced and premium for CSA.
c
did you reboot it ? licenses get read at startup
c
Jep. Cold Reboot, No errors in license.log
h
could you also try a 13.0 release?
m
did you really give the license back and allocate it new? Do you have a subscription for the VPX? Maybe the expiration date in the file is in the past?
c
yep, i did everything like that and also checked the license file
c
if you're applying a Gateway VPX license then that means you don't have LB by design, so I'm a bit confused here.
h
what's the confusion? the gateway feature is missing after applying the license after upgrading, previous edition(s) works fine the judges are still out on 13.0 and 13.1 it's definitely broken on that.
c
"netscaler is still on freemium although the gateway feature is then activated" to me means "the gateway feature is unlocked but ADC features are missing"
h
ah I'm seeing the point you are making, didn't scan that at all
@Christian Jöns does the Citrix Gateway feature work or does it not work?
c
Issue is solved. Had old license names for the gateway license stored in the License Portal. Support has fixed it. Thanks everyone
