05/10/2023, 9:15 PMI am actively migrating all of my work scripts to PS 7. The other big driver is that the Devolution’s Remote Desktop Manager has dropped WinPS support completely. So now I’m having to split my work betweena WinPS and PS7 consoles. Additionally a lot if the workarounds i had i had to do with WinPS, I don’t have to in 7. Citrix is really behind most other vendors, and my automation scripts are stuck with 5.

05/11/2023, 11:27 AMThis issue really needs attention from Citrix. I was hoping the Tibco acquisition would move this forward now that the "Cloud, Cloud, only Cloud" mentality at Citrix has changed. Microsoft has yet to set an end date for PowerShell 5.x, but it would be nice to utilize the advancements in PoSh 7.x with our Citrix environments.

05/11/2023, 6:37 PMI am not a developer or programmer (just ask @Guy Leech), but IMO, Citrix did many things wrong with their PoSH implementation. Breaking "about help" didn't help anything and their refusal to fix it was just not smart IMO. Not that any of this will matter to me in 1 month, 20 days, 10 hours, and 23 minutes. :)
