What environment is it in?

Citrix 1912 CU3 (VDA 2103), running on Ctx Hypervisor 8.2 CU1. Golden image is not a member of the domain prior to deploying the snapshot.
Window 10 Enterprise, build 21H2.

You're most likely waiting for all policies to apply at this point. You may want to deploy something like Uber Agent to analyse the boot time and see what's taking the time. Alternatively, domain join your master image and see if it's speeds it up. Analysis would have to be done using the event log.

Thanks. It's not really a huge problem, we have a few hundred VDIs running so the odds are that a user is most likely routed to a VM that's finished booting. Was mostly looking into it to see if there's room for any improvements.

For slow logons that occur before the logon screen, I will check the basic stuff first. Offline DNS server in IP settings, then check for any scheduled tasks running at startup. If you suspect GPOs, you can go into the following event log sub section start > run > eventvwr.msc application & services logs > GroupPolicy > Operational

@Owen Reynolds I'm mainly looking for optimizations for the boot time. The VDIs spend a long time getting ready after boot, before any users sign in. Might be by design, of course, or it takes a while to cache and process computer configs in GPOs etc. Logon time isn't to bad, 80% of the users are signed in within 20 seconds.
