You mean Citrix gateway service + workspace service? I've not done deployments for 5k users, but have done dozens with the above components without much hassle. The biggest win, is taking away regular Netscaler firmware updates. Normal caveats of 99.99 reliability for Citrix Cloud services apply, else, I usually recommend new/existing users migrate to Citrix cloud services where possible

Ah, gotcha. I would still recommend going with both, one less item to maintain on prem, unless your client has an ultra tight budget, go all cloud for your access layer
