If you have trouble tracking it down in DevManager, i like to use USBDeview, then sort by event time, plug in the device, and the device will be on the top http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html

There’s a ps script that will show pid/vid of everything connected and export it. I’ve ran the script with and without the device plugged in and then compare output of each
