If there's space available, there shouldn't be an issue creating files there. What's the output of 'df -H'? Also what user are you logged in as - do you have permissions to the filesystem if you aren't logged in as nsroot?

@Scott Knights I have tried that same article but we do not have any old version kernel files or old NetScaler software release files. Cert files go to /flash/nsconfig/ssl folder. So for the second article, does it help if we clear space on /var partition?
@Daniel Marsh That is exactly where I m confused. df -h shows 48% free. I am logged in with my id added to admin groups (sysadmin I guess) on the NetScaler.

one option is just to ssh o to the box and do everything with openssl
that's what the gui eventually uses... not sure if it could be your permission level though, superuser has the highest privilege
c
we have removed old crt files each 2-3 kb and imported new cert files of same size. We are able to update the certs but we still have this issue.
@Kari Ruissalo (WyW) is there a doc for using openssl in netscaler?
k
Well it's Openssl
I think you need to use the conf file to get it going properly... I just use Windows for most of the time because it's so easy

even if we generate certs, we have to import them in netscaler and change it in gateway vip, correct?
even for that there is no space on /flash. we are in the situation explained above.
