    Ok so probably not the point of this channel, but in Google Workspace, using Chrome, when I go to
    <chrome://apps>
    I see some apps, but not all. e.g. I see Mail, Drive, Chat… I like the apps there because I can make shortcuts that open in their own window and I can properly cmd+tab through them. So now I want to do that with apps/sites that don’t show up on that list, like Meet and Calendar, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I googled around a bit and asked some LLMs, and I found a few “turn any website into an app” type things which don’t seem to work. So, anyone know if this is possible / how / have recommendations? Thanks y’all!!

    Has there been much news on IWA (Isolated Web Apps) for ChromeOS? I see there is a new option to deploy them in the Google Admin Console. It looks like they will support extra APIs like Smart card support.

    https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2025/03/amazon-connect-workspaces-appstream-2-0-chrome-enterprise-recommended/ saw this announcement from AWS that Amazon Connect, Amazon WorkSpaces, and Amazon AppStream 2.0 are now Chrome Enterprise Recommended

    https://www.xtralogic.com/remote-desktop-client-for-chrome/ This is the first ChromeOS Isolated Web App I've seen, the neat thing is it has smartcard support on ChromeOS for RDP. It would be neat if they could do an IWA for ChromeOS on AWS Workspaces. We got used to Citrix supporting Smartcards on ChromeOS, and are looking at having to buy at least 50 Windows laptops just to get Smartcard support for the NHS Identity Agent. Unfortunately the NHS don't officially support ChromeOS devices as Endpoints https://digital.nhs.uk/services/spine/spine-technical-information-warrantied-environment-specification-wes . But we did have it working, except for the later versions of NHS Identity Agent on Citrix with a Windows 10 VDA.

    https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/chrome-enterprise/chromeos-desk-sync-keeps-your-momentum-going-across-devices/ didn't they have a feature like this on SunRay workstations in the 90's?
