I see version 8.8 now supports updating the agent from the console for MSI installed agents which is great. Is there a way to tell which method was initially used? I successfully did an agent update to a machine I was told was installed via MSI, and I did NOT have the regkey added.

Hi :) Atm I'm playing around with a ControlUp POC. I like it. But have to discuss license cost with my CEO 😬 Question. Are you taking the sizing recommendations which controlup suggest? CU tells me that I have a bunch of oversized VMs.

Is it possible to make a trigger based off the Cloud Connector Status metric? For whatever reason, Citrix no longer sends us alerts when a Cloud Connector is not reachable. I see ControlUp is able to determine if the Cloud Connector State is Connected or Disconnected. But I can't find anything in the triggers that relates specifically to cloud connectors.

Is there a way to create an alert on controlup to send an email if a Citrix Cloud lost connection to a VDA?

Anyone shed any light on this in ControlUp? I wasn't aware there was a daily limit to what you could log

Hey all! First time using CU in a while, and my first time using the web-based console, so, i could have missed something I've got an issue with a customer environment, where I want to use CU to troubleshoot slowness The issue ; the entire set of 80 + VDAs aren't showing in the web-console, nor via the fat client, instead, each day, we get a random VDA showing up, there are no filters set in the web console. If I manually add the VM on the Control Up fat client , it doesn't pull any info, instead showing "install agent" I could see how this would be the case if the firewall rules weren't in place, where ALL cloned VDAs would not show, but we are seeing random VDAs popping up in the web-based console, so, it's confusing :p I've worked with CU quite a bit, but i've not seen any scenarios where all the cloned VDAS would not be discovered. I followed the latest support guidelines with the customer to open the correct firewall ports and followed the correct CLI (shown below) msiexec /i agentmanagersetup.msi /qn DEVREGCODE=GUID1 TENANT=GUID2 ALLUSERS=1 ONLYSTARTONBOOT=1 Additional details vSphere 8 for hosting Citrix Cloud back-end Win 2016 OS with 2203 CU5 VDA provisioned by app layering and MCS DX agent was installed as an app layer via Citrix app layering, maybe it would have been better as a platform layer, but AFAIK, CU isn't a filter drive like FSLogix, so, app layer makes the most sense The related testing tool shows “ok” on all tests: https://support.controlup.com/v1/docs/how-to-check-network-connectivity-to-controlup-cloud-services Any help is appreciated, happy holidays if you're already on break/PTO! We have been working to find slowness in our environment for quite a while and finally found that ControlUp has been a major contributor. We had to disable CU on our Citrix servers. ControlUp support gave us a bug number #207748 but hasn't been forthcoming with any details regarding what the bug is or why it may be causing issues. Has anybody else been working on slowness with ControlUp that can provide any insight?

Good Morning everyone! Anyone know if it is possible to fix the order of trigger assigned action scripts in ControlUp? It seems they are re-ordered after adding them to a trigger after clicking apply. I've already tried to use all sort of naming methods, like using numbers, or letters, but somehow the assigned actions are always re-ordered and not executed in the required order.. Or is this a bug?

With Citrix App Layering, is it best to put the ControlUp agent in the Platform Layer?

Am I being stupid or can you not view memory handles in the ControlUp console view?
