So just thought I'd send an update on the Storefront issue I posted about a few times, when I changed the STAs on Storefront to some new DDCs, I lost the ability to launch any apps. Well after weeks of troubleshooting, it turns out that when we changed the STAs on the NetScaler end, the customer had given me the wrong NetScaler address. That's right, we made the changes on the test NetScaler. The live one still had the old DDCs listed as STAs. It was only when we turned on a trace on the test NetScaler that it became apparent there was absolutely no traffic moving through it. Who'd have thought it, making the changes on the right device worked? Anyways this is now all up and running on new SF that is propagating correctly, the old DDCs are shut down and decommissioned, and this project is finally over. Just need to find some work now to pay the bills as my house refurbishment is running way over budget and destroying my retirement fund 😞

Is it just me that the new Storefront UI Activity Manager only works from Workspace App? When I try it from chrome or edge I just get You don't have any desktops or apps running.

Just curious if anyone has seen this. We have two prod SF servers (2022 OS and 2311 SF) which are load balanced by ADCs (13.1). I have a new DG for a WS 2022 VDA (2402) and cannot launch the published desktop from the ADCs if server "B" is enabled on the LB. If i disable server B on the LB it works fine. Hi All, deleted a store from StoreFront server group but the StoreWeb folder and StoreWeb website was not deleted. When I tried to manually delete the IIS site & folder, Stores were not accessible from the console. How to remove it properly/cleanly?

Does some of you know if it is possible to add a delay to the storefront restart button on a non persistent desktop pool. Right now the new VDA is launched to quickly resulting in locked FSLogix profiles. I would like to migrate to a single base URL for external and internal connections. Sanity check: • The LB on the NetScaler has to redirect to the new base URL. • The certificate on the StoreFront and LB has to be updated. • Beacons need to be validated. • The beacon must not be accessible via VPN • The callback URL has to be added to the host file on both SF servers. • The SCCM package for new workspace app deployments needs to point to the single base URL.

was wondering if there is an easy way to export the ico files or images for published apps so i can import to another tenant?

We're implementing a GPO to restrict membership of the local admin groups across the board. On newer Storefront VMs, Citrix automatically adds these accounts that i think may come into play when propagating config between server groups but i'm not sure. If i apply my GPO, it removes these accounts. Anyone have any thoughts?

We currently have a XenApp storefront that auto signs in and populates the start menu we configured the CWA with the store name via install switches. Can you do the same with the cloud Citrix Workspace?

Hi. I'm trying to install Storefront, using only Powershell modules. I'm having trouble setting the External Beacons and Powershell returns this error. Any help would be appreciated. Set-DSGlobalExternalBeacons doesn't have -ID as a parameter and I'm unsure as to where I set it.

But in the article there is no script attached. Does anyone have the link or the script file? Can you please upload it here, if you have a copy? Thank you

Hey guys, seeing an odd issue on one of the SF environments. Single SF server, Netscaler 14.1, DUO MFA. Randomly getting "Cannot complete your request" and on SF seeing errors 1, 7, and 10. The issue is super random and affects all browsers and regular and private modes seemingly randomly. Anyone seen anything similar?

Hi all, I´m having issues connecting iOS Devices to an external store. Windows CWAs working just fine. I use newest 14.1 GW with nfactor. From the user perspective I add a new account using external portal address, authenticate with nfactor. After that there is a delay of about a minute, results in "Cannot connect to server: please check network and try again" I enabled debug logs and can see, that the iOS client is able to retreive the list of the resources, however breaks with this DNS error:

Has anyone ever had the issue where StoreFront randomly stops trusting a Cloud Connector for XML traffic? I'm running version 2402. Initially, I thought it might be something strange with the StoreFront servers, so I rebuilt them using 2402 CU1. Everything seemed fine at first, but after a few hours, I started seeing this error: "The Citrix servers do not trust the server. This message was reported from the XML Service at address...". I initially had the Cloud Connectors behind a VIP, so I added them individually into StoreFront. Event logs show that each Cloud Connector passes the test (e.g., "The Citrix XML Service at address REDACTED has passed the background health check and has been restored to the list of active services."), and I can launch applications without issues for a short period. However, they start becoming untrusted randomly, and users encounter problems trying to launch resources. Then, after a few minutes, everything starts working again. I've tried deploying new StoreFront and Cloud Connector servers, but the issue persists.

Is it possible to set a Store to only show applications that are published to the user, and not any desktops?

It gives no errors and the blog doesn't list any requirements. Im a full admin and I can UNC without issue.

Customer using SF 2203 and really loves green bubble theme/scheme. Anyone been able to reconfigure a SF site to use Green Bubble theme/background (specifically this monstrosity)?

Running Netscaler with an access gateway. User is authenticated with OAuth on an external IdP. Citrix FAS is in place. Intermittently users have no resources in Storefront but the username is displayed. After waiting some time / refreshing the browser resources become visible. We troubleshooted every part of the Citrix chain but all looks just fine. No errors or warnings or whatsoever. It’s unknown when this behavior started. • Netscaler 14.1 (latest) • CVAD 2402 LTSR CU1 Have you got any clues?

Storefront - Shortcuts Hello all ! I try to find a way to close the web browser tab when using Storefront shortcuts to launch application. We can remove the prompte to launch the app by modifying the web.config file (<appShortcuts promptForUntrustedShortcuts="false">) but I can't find a way to close the tab. If I try to do this with a javascript function I obtain the error (in the debug console) : "scripts may close only the windows that were opened by them." Thank you for helping me to solve this headache 😉

Hello All, We have two StoreFront 2203 LTSR CU4 installations on Server 2016. After a Citrix Health Check, we were advised to upgrade the OS Server 2016 to server 2019. We created two new Server 2019 instances, exported the StoreFront configuration via PowerShell, and imported it to the new Server 2019. according to Citrix documentation: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/storefront/2203-ltsr/export-import-storefront-config Now, we have an issue: our SSO stores are not working, and we receive the error "No logon methods are available on this platform." Meanwhile, the old Server 2016 has no issues with our SSO stores. Is there a way to completely disable beaconing on Workspace App/SF? I have need to force all traffic through the NetScaler, even when internally. I was eyeing ‘*Clear-STFRoamingBeacon’.* However this prompts me for “Roaming Service” and I’m not sure what value to put in there (I’ve tried several with no luck)
