No activity here...  I wonder if someone owns a corporation and works there as their primary job if they are considered self-employed?

I think that would be a safe assumption. I think even people who have a side business may also call themselves self employed.

Adapting that model to the UK, I've always maintained I'm not self-employed, as I'm technically an employee of my own company, and majority shareholder. The UK definition of self-employed is you don't have a company you work via.
