I still think there is an incredible need to verify 'what is fact' and somewhere along that road is decentralized protocols or block chain

I came to be disillusioned with the blockchain space. After working on the consensus algorithm in a blockchain, in the end, it's just boils down to distributed databases. Plus (except a few ones) tokens, that is, mostly speculation. I have a few resources to share, if of interest. You'd be surprised of how little fact checking is there. My conclusion was that you just cannot throw a couple of slashing conditions and pretend people will behave. I hope we'll come to realize that critical thinking is the way to go and that should start as early as possible. Schools currently don't seem to emphasize this enough but we have to help our kids to think for themselves and not take anything for granted.
