I wrote: “Hello Mary,
We received our greeting cards today. The print looks a lot better, although a number of fonts on the back are smudged and not crisp and clear.
On the order form, I ordered and indicated 10 cards to be shrink wrapped as our previous order. Unfortunately, whoever packed our cards this time mistakenly packed them in groups of 50. This has posed some issues for us. 1.) We will have to cut open all the cards and separate them in bundles and shrink wrap them ourselves. We are selling them in groups of twenty with two ten pack bundles. This is adding more to our costs even with the initial card issues we had with the company and had to count that entire order a loss since we still had to pay for all of it (over $300). 2.) The shrink-wrapping of these bundles of 50 have caused bowing and bending of the many of the cards towards the top. When I took out some cards from one of the packs, the top ones had white parts of the card showing (because they were bent) and looked unprofessional. I took a photo to show you for proof against the other card you had printed for us which had no issues since it was shrink wrapped in packs of ten like we had ordered. There were hardly any issues with bending with the first order and we thought to pass it since the bending for the first order was slight. 3.) Some of the edges of the cards are bent, damaged, or parts of the cards slightly peeled off. We did not have these damaged issues with the cards shrink wrapped in groups of ten. This will be further loss to us since we can’t sell this as part of our high-end card line.
I have taken a number of quick photos with my phone if you’d like proof. If you want more detailed photos, I can use a tighter and better macro lens with our professional camera to show the issues. All these issues are further delaying our launch and I’m not satisfied at this point. I am one to hardly complain and usually let certain things slide, but some of these issues are unacceptable.
I look forward to your response.
Respectfully,
Franicia”
