I responded to Stephanie with this message: "11:04AM Oh Stephanie! I just prayed for you. ❤️ This was so precious and made me cry. I understand your grief and loss to a certain extent. It is so hard to miss a special mom who loved us with all her being. ❤️ I'm sending you a big hug from here! I have older friends who lost their mother when they were little girls and who stepped in and became mom to the family in so many ways. They are such happy women who bless others and their families in so many ways. I feel so blessed to know them and have their friendship. I know the Lord is the source of their strength. 🙂 Thank you for sharing with me that my posts are encouraging. It can be disappointing to me at rare times when I find people spreading lies about us online (based upon what they think are family is like with only pictures and posts) when they've never met us before. Also we don't do it for the numbers and really haven't gotten a single penny for what we write and share on our sites and other family platforms and yet have spent money on website hosting fees and such and see our small audience that I sometimes wonder how much if at all we are helping others let alone reaching anyone. 🙂 We started sharing things as a way to show others the love that Christ has given us for each other and wanting to give Him praise and glory, also to point others where we find our strength, hope, and joy. That keeps us going even if it is for a few people, but we do fight the temptation to get discouraged. Once in a while God will send a person (friend or another person) like you to encourage us that indeed the time we spend sharing things with others is not wasted. ❤️ My husband may lose his job and all benefits due to genetic disorders he was born with. We don't find out for sure until a month or so from now. This has caused us to cling to Him even more and trusting in His plan, even if it means losing all our benefits, hopes of retirement money, and more. We've been working on various things offline to help prepare us for our possible loss of a job and have been prayerful these years to weed out the things that are not worth our time right now or ever considering our family dynamics as well. Thank you for encouragement and it humbling that you would think that I come close in any way to remind you of your dear mother who loves you dearly. I ache for you and thank God for you. Thank you for sharing words with me that will be an encouragement to my spirit to keep pressing on and that indeed the Lord is touching lives and not just touching them but providing encouragement to others --- like you --- in ways that are priceless and one money can never match. ❤️ Thank you for praying for us and I've been praying for you in the moments you've reached out to me to tell me of your loss. Have a Merry Christmas and may you feel God's love this day!"
