@Tim Book Title Draft: --> 🙂 How to Raise Awesome Children: A Biblical, Almost Military-like Yet Fun and Gentle Way to Encourage Your Children to Be Thoughtful, Respectful, Obedient, and Delightful That Others Even Enjoy Their Presence
@Tim Wow! It’s been since 2018 when we came up with a title and subtitle for our “How to Raise Awesome Children” book!

@Tim Below are two documents I wrote for brainstorming in April 2018 for our “How to Raise Awesome Children” book: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jaoGpIDCCTXCRliDaDjGb3TwKna_DQ7lRsQUbkAtHow/edit https://docs.google.com/document/d/19B-aNQdOcxSzEX3ysXDm7JHabKl6b26BMKpkSQ1Zio4/edit

@Tim On March 2, 2018 I asked and you responded to this question about our target audience for the “How to Raise Awesome Children” book which we can always change or add fathers too as well. 😊 “Do you think it would be a good idea to say that Christian moms are the target market for the Awesome Children book? If we teach morals and the Bible is our blueprint for most things we’ll be teaching, wouldn’t it make it easier to address that target audience?”

@Tim We were trying to figure out if there is a better replacement for the word “military” here and if that word could trigger anything negative that we don’t want to be confused or associated with. It’s hard to tell.

@Franicia Where is "military?"
f
@Tim What do we do is military-like though? Our family life is mostly relaxed I think. I think the part for me that can seem similar to the military is in paperwork perhaps, but I’m not sure.

@Tim If you go to the original post of this thread it shows our subtitle which has the word “military” in it.

t
@Franicia Yeah, we should remove "military" from the subtitle.

@Tim That’s a good idea. What would be a good word to add there?
t
@Franicia A Biblical, Orderly, Fun and Gentle Way to Encourage Your Children to Be Thoughtful, Respectful, Obedient, and Delightful

@Tim I like that! It sounds great too! Thank you, Sweetie. ❤️

@Tim I had thought about orderly too but wasn't sure because some things we do can seem as if it has no order. What would you say is orderly in what we do? 🙂
t
@Franicia I think that it's important that we include "orderly" because "fun" might give the impression that we don't encourage order in our family. Also, I think that "orderly" may describe the real-life consequences that we try to impose so that our children are ready for real life as young adults.

@Tim Those are great points and also help me to know how to steer our writing or at least what not to forget to emphasize or teach. 😊
