@Tim It’s my understanding from the LOI that they were stating that you did not receive your information from the FBI or law enforcement. How do you feel about that knowing where you got your statements from?

@Franicia I think that CAPT Berta was directed by his boss(es) to issue that letter. He may have issued that letter rather than relieve me as CO. I spoke to my lawyers about it, and they recommended that I sign it because it was kind of a "childish" action on RCCSE's part and not worth fighting. Prior to CAPT Berta sending the letter, he called me. We discussed the whole situation, and I told him where I heard that I had hit the terrorist. He basically said that his hands were tied. That was not a good day for me. 🙁
