<@U02BKFX3R> I just happened to randomly ask Mr. Hal Shurtleff (?). He asked if he could call me or if I could call him after I asked if they allow licensing of Alpha Phonics to publishers like us or something of that effect. Then I said if they didn’t, we’ve benefitted from it, still use it, and recommend it to others.

<@U02BY23UR> Is the Alpha Phonics system available for purchase anywhere right now?

<@U02BKFX3R> I saw it as a possible opportunity before when I saw that it was hardly available, but they may have figured that out already. If it is not possible or doesn’t work out, it is neat to connect I’m guessing.

<@U02BKFX3R> Before, it seemed it was limited. I looked again today on Amazon and they may have figured out how to sell through them. I’m not sure though.

<@U02BKFX3R> I saw that he was posting about raising funds for the Blumenfeld Foundation or something like that and figured they needed money. He had books that were being auctioned off and also offering to ship books to others, one was a Phonics-type of companion book I hadn’t seen before. 

So I thought that were trying to raise funds and might be interested in licensing or just making money in general.

<@U02BKFX3R> I just got off the phone with Mr. Hal Shurtleff. I wish you could have been here, but it was good, compact, and I got a lot of information. We’ll be corresponding with him. He sent us a link to access of a lot of Mr. Samuel Blumenfeld’s books for free. 

Mr. Blumenfeld was a very good friend of his and he inherited a lot of his things to sell for the foundation including access to many things that is now offered for free for which they ask a donation for.
