Most importantly and I could be wrong, I think it would be beneficial to share what or that I shared multiple Bible passages with you, other deviant behavior’s destruction to Christian people (may not have to give specifics but up to you), and my own testimony and past sexual sins and such.

It would help to also know what you were thinking about my approach in my demeanor or what I was saying —anything — basically what went through your mind as your wife is sharing those things with you. 

<@U02BKFX3R> I think it is important and would also be extremely important to mention we both cried and prayed on and off since (?) where you prayed but nothing happened and why. To me, it may have been that you cried at the deep agony and destruction you caused us your family and even the lack of respect, love, etc. we had even in our eyes and what that was like for you — what you saw, felt, etc.

Did it tear you to your core? Why? Did you want us to still stay together? Those things :pray:

After continuing to pray and think about it, talk to you, and prepare for and talk to Pastor Dave, Jonathan Bobo, and Jonathan Phillips, I came to the conclusion that I was not born again prior to Mother's Day weekend.

Praying for Ukraine Missionaries and Neighboring Missionaries

I wonder if we could send a small amount (as I know we have needs too) to HeartCry. They send funds to missionaries they support.

I offered to be in charge of Zoom and send links if someone is able to have a laptop or way for me to participate in the study virtually.

Sister Lupe called, and I offered. She was checking on us and said that Mrs. Espe got us a chicken but has car trouble. So sister Lupe will be delivering it tomorrow and offered any assistance with groceries and such.

“Hello everyone! Thank you so much for all of the money that you contributed to help with the Simmons children's gift bags. We have been so blessed helping with this project. We have such a loving church family.

 

This is just a reminder to have your children write letters to the Simmons children to go into an envelope for them to open when they arrive at their new home. Please turn in letters this Lord's Day morning to Nicole or Caitlin Charnock and we will make sure to get them in the correct gift bag.

Franicia: @all I purchased the book study set of the updated version of “Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets Them Free” by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. They are the Kindle version and came in a bundle. I’ve discussed before with <@U02TSJMH69M> and <@U02U78DCSTV> about us going through this together. I look forward to it!

I plan to buy physical copies of the books. For now, the Kindle books are convenient, allow us to begin now, and save us money. When searching for it on the Kindle, look for “Lies Women Believe/Lies Women Believe Study Guide- 2 book set Kindle Edition.”

Girls, read through the chapter titles and introduction. Read over the testimonials sometime whether now or later, but focus on the two items above. Let us open up with prayer and discuss a little this afternoon. We were to get treats or drinks to have for that time. Tea, kombucha, etc. or anything would be nice.

Let’s aim for any thirty to forty-five minute window between 1400 and 1530 to begin that opening prayer time. It’s just to begin with prayer and discuss any bit of what we’ve read. We may not get to read it all and will continue the discussion another day.

I mostly plan on us meeting on the weekdays to try out. We’ll adjust as needed. See you then! :smiling_face_with_3_hearts::heart::pray:

Tim: @all Have you ever given much thought about the things for which we may compromise that which is clearly right or wrong according to God’s Word? Is there ever a time or circumstance for which we SHOULD compromise right and wrong? For what things are you willing to compromise what you understand to be right and wrong?

Tim: @all This is particularly an important theme that we need to prayerfully consider given the recent vaccine and other medical or safety mandates associated with the health scares in the past couple of years. Organizations used fear to pressure people into doing things that they would’ve never considered including social distancing; eliminating social gatherings including public worship, weddings, funerals, and visiting loved ones in assisted-living facilities; shutting down economies; face-masking; and all-but-forced vaccinations using vaccines that were relatively untested using technologies that were not used in previous vaccinations that also used aborted fetal cell lines in the development and testing of them. Most faithful Christians refused to comply with some of these mandates, but many chose to compromise their beliefs. We are not their judge — we all will answer to God and face the consequences of our actions and choices both in this life and in the life to come.

Tim: <@UR1LN7RJ8> I want all of you to think about how you purpose to deal with compromise in your life. Will you compromise on what you understand God’s Word to teach? Will you compromise on what you understand to be right and wrong? If so, why will you do so? Under what circumstances will you compromise? If you choose not to compromise, why will you do so? How can you stand strong in what you believe to be true?
