@Tim: Should I buy the class myself since I will get the free MySilentTeam membership too? I'll have access to the private Facebook group should I need it as well among other things.

@Tim: I remember reading about them and their business before --- possibly years ago. It may have been the same article. There are some good reminders here and helpful advice when they mention how they were getting maxed out at $1000 and feeling burnt out while also refusing to outsource to China, trying out home seamstresses, and ultimately the wife making them mostly herself to fulfill orders but then deciding to make and sell the doll patterns instead. Then their brand did not fit when they wanted others to join them. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.shopify.com/content-services/blog/en/17587420-how-one-couple-is-making-600-000-per-year-selling-digital-products.amp?client=safari

@Tim: I read or saw a video for Slack on emojis and how they use that to keep track of who does what project, use a checkmark emoji if it is completed, use another emoji if they recommend someone do the task, one for someone volunteering to do it.

๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“”Eve Everett posted this helpful and insightful information on selling books on Amazon especially when their sales are dry on ebay. She posted it on the ScavengerLife forum. ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ต They DO NOT USE FBA for Amazon and made $1,952.04 last week alone and ebay $788.52. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Her message was: "Hey Ryanne did somebody trip over the plug in the What Sold Section? I canโ€™t post a What Sold video there. Maybe I need to give literacy a chance? What am I doing wrong. Also do you two have a po box for any December Solstice gifts? I have something here to send. Anywho, itโ€™s been pretty steady on books on Amazon and dries and drabs on eBay. Now is the time to consider pruning dead inventory before eBay hits ya with that automatic renewal listing fee. I was going to be an entitled prick and post my What Sold video here anyway, but I am entering my mid life crisis adult phase, which reminded me that would be poor form. Drat. If anything I had weird sales the past few months, like the $70 Squishable frog, and some Betamax tapes. Somebody wanted out of a lot, just one Young and the Restless Betamax for $50, so clearly, the money is out there somewhere. Guys suck it up and sell books on Amazon. Itโ€™s a nice, steady income as long as you have a price changer. We have a home brew changer, but I have heard Amazons isnโ€™t too bad. Basic numbers for last week: eBay total for all accounts: $788.52 Amazon $1,952.04 We do not use FBA. My control borg partner(ish) cough long story, would bleed out of his eyes if we did. Also any advice on how to deal with my new but perpetually angry at the entire universe mailman, greatly appreciated. Tattling would result in all mail going to His basement, so if there is a way to get his route changed anonymously, Iโ€™m all ears."

@Tim There is a surprising and shocking statement from a guy today (in the comments) who owned 3 ebay stores and were all shut down today without notice. He says: "Ryan Robinson January 3, 2017 at 3:27 pm After four years on eBay they shut down all three stores I had without notice. My morals were to high to allow fraudulent actions of buyers to effect my life; big mistake with eBay. I sell used (refurbished) Android Tablet PCs. My father and I created this Not-For-Profit entity to create 'Capitalism for a Cause.' A white paper was written years about our process. We sell to gain money to build laptops to hand to 501c3 entities locally. Mainly we donate to churches, outreaches, safe houses, you get the idea. We donate all our Veteran Benefits. I'm 45 and he's 72. Does this matter? NO. eBay has destroyed us by allowing buyer remorse. They even told me, I conacted hal Lawton of eBay, and they stated 'eBay goes in favor of the buyer 99% of the time, no matter what the seller presents to them as truth and proof.' So there you all have it. Jovially, I spoke to the end of the line American customer service representative of eBay. At the end of the call I told him Trump is going to push for more taxation to imports and this will limit greatly what eBay sells and what businesses will exist when China imports are concerned. With a big heart and educated mind, I would like to say, "eBay is going to kill itself." eBay killed the small business. Walmart set the sheeple mindset that anything can be returned no questions asked and they INSIST on this on eBay and actual brick and mortar businesses. This mindset is also ruining small business. Combine eBay and Walmart and we have two strong businesses pounding down other MORAL business owners. Take care, Ryan A. Robinson PhD. Human Services and Counseling A Not-For-Profit businessmanโ€ http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/fed-up-with-ebay-here-are-some-worthy-and-cheaper-alternatives-for-sellers/

@Tim I was just doing some research to find other alternatives to selling on ebay because 1) clothing sales for children can be hit or miss, 2) Bonanza was an alternative for vintage items but still needs traffic, 3) someone on the FB momโ€™s ebay group mentioned am M place that has worked better for her than ebay in selling childrenโ€™s clothes, and 4) now seeing these store owners getting shut down concerns me and makes me want to be prepared and start trying out other selling avenues just in case.

I just requested to join the MySilentTeam FB group after you shared this link. I saw they encouraged that on the top of this page on the link. I had to answer some questions before I got approved. My answers for one of them was to learn more and understand more from the items we (I wrote your name) bought from Jim Cockrum He just approved it.

I see a lot of negative reviews on the app store for Mercari. They are also charging people 10% now. I'm not sure if Bonanza is a good alternative yet. At least there are more options than just feeling stuck somewhere. ๐Ÿ˜Š

@Tim: I also got more great ideas on video creation and getting money from ads while also using our photography, sourcing, and video creation skills. I thought we could make vintage toy (vintage items) videos. This could be an extension of the Toys Toys Channel and website too under vintage/retro. Many people write and pin articles and blog posts of vintage items that now sell for a fortune. We could even do screenshots of sold items too I think. People pin a lot of these articles as well. I think it will help a lot of us relive nostalgic moments and share them with our children while also opening up conversation for people our age and more.
