Is there a way to append data to a variable in Puppet (I know variables can't change) but the idea would be this: several different teams owning different parts of the Puppet stack need different SSL certs. My team owns the base layer, and we need an SSL cert based on the Linux servers fqdn. Another team owns a layer that the server type owner wants to use and that layer needs an SSL cert too. (Might be fqdn, might be something else.) And then the server type owner might have an Apache instance with the need for an SSL cert with fqdn, a local load balanced VIP, and a global load balanced VIP. The idea would be to append all those SSL domain needs into a single list of unique domains to submit to an ACME client like acme.sh or lego or certbot. I can see using puppetlabs-concat to create a single file with values and then parsing that file to create the consolidated list of domains. Was just wondering if there was another way.
