Anyone looking for startup work with minimum 3 days in the office in London?

Hey all! I'm currently looking for a new role in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, etc. I was laid off from Puppet a few months ago, where, as a Principal Engineer, I created Security Compliance Enforcement (SCE), worked on ~Puppet Cloud~ Unified Compliance, and wore several other hats. Here's a quick list of some technologies I've worked with recently: Puppet ecosystem, Ruby, PostgreSQL, Python, Go, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Claude Code, and LangChain / LangGraph. My last year at Puppet, I spent more time focused on architecture, system design, and mentoring than I did writing code, but I also still wrote a lot of code. I also really enjoy working with customer and stakeholders, and I would like to think I'm good at being a bridge between technical and less technical folks. I'm available to work remotely in any US timezone, and I can provide a full resume via DM.

if I remember right, Heston also worked with me on that scavenger hunt game that everyone loved for the pandemic virtual puppetconf events.

I have no job for you but maybe some upcoming questions about SCE :face_with_peeking_eye::sweat_smile:

 <@U07SNFFGNM6> I see a request for your contracting rates :slightly_smiling_face:

Where are you actually located // where would you be willing to work onsite?

Located in Arizona in the US. I'm not currently open to fully on-site work but would consider hybrid

Yeah, unfortunately we need onsite people in SF or London. It's active support of GPUs and ML researchers and face to face has been really important. Not my own preference, but given the delta between researchers and developers I've come to see how often things go astray/miscommunicated when we are remote so I understand the mandate.
