Yes just following up on the automated post... Umbraco 18 beta is out today! This release includes the first phase of work on “global elements” along with updates of dependencies and clean-up of obsolete code. Feedback from upgraded packages and projects is much appreciated. Read all about it:

Can't update extensions to `@umbraco-cms/backoffice@18.0.0-beta1` because it depends on `@umbraco-ui/uui@2.0.0` and that's not published 😞

It looks like an issue with references in the build/release.  It's correct 2.0.0 isn't out, but a pre-release that were depending on is, and seems the reference has come out wrong.  Looking like we’ll need a beta2. I’ll let you know when I hear it’s worth trying again 😕

The issue has been identified and fixed. Meanwhile, you should be able to do a `--force` when installing the package and just make sure you manually install `@umbraco-ui/uui@2.0.0-rc.1`

Beta2 was released earlier this morning so 🤞 all works as expected now
