V14 Packages on Marketplace

One for @Ronald Barendse - any reason why Marketplace does not import/list prereleases ? Still be good to list them IMO and filter them in or out depending on what you wanna look for (especially with V14)
@Sebastiaan did you get your V14 package listed on marketplace yet?

It's a beta, so not possible. I don't think it's trivial to list pre-releases on the marketplace at the moment. Not sure it's a good place to put pre-release versions either. There's some chats happening though.

OK well I think for V14 onboarding ramp, I would expect alot of prerelease/beta/RC packages for it
I would still want people to disover it to help use and thus give feedback
Rather than me and my little echo chamber on here plugging it or Umb.FYi etc
But good to hear chats are happening

We have indeed discussed this with the Package Community team and internally as well, but there's currently no immediate action plan...
It would be nice to gather input and reason for including them though, so feel free to create an issue for it on the Marketplace tracker: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco.Marketplace.Issues/issues 👍

Will see if I get time later today
TLDR version its about visibility whilst alot pf packages go in flux for V14. Be lots of trial and error and bug finding with the community & consumers of installing these packages

We could always at a static page to the Marketplace to list known betas/pre-releases. Bit of a lazy approach, but better than nothing given the difficulties with listing betas

Yeh will leave it down to you lot. But yeh could be an option for sure.
