Cool It was a good training course.. the helpers in Odense were uniformly brilliant I recall (biased opinion alert) but the trainer was excellent (coughs) @Jeavon

It really was such a good course.

Thought I would have another play with moving my test site to the latest Umbraco (I had previously given up as too many niggles etc.) Was pleasantly surprised, new install of latest 15, imported v14 with uSync, copied over some templates and apart from 1 small issue with block preview everything appears to be working 😄

I've been on the hunt for a CMS and I never really settled on anything. I built sites with Umbraco 7 (yeah, it's been that long) for a number of years, but I really disliked it coming from the WordPress space. Fast forward, everything I work on is .NET. I picked up 15 last week and started building this new site with Blazor for the frontend and it's been absolutely bliss. Modern dependency injection and the models builder have made all the difference.

Maybe it's a bit of patting myself on the back, but I'm really happy with the styling and functionality of these settings for a (unfortunately private) package I'm working on. I missed an easier way to find icons, than opening up the content type editor inside the backoffice. So a little vibing, and voila: https://skttl.github.io/umbraco-icons-gallery/ Fetches the icons from github when you load it, so it should always be up to date.

Hey everyone! 👋 Just launched my first Umbraco site in over 10 years: https://biskupinn.com/. It’s powered by Azure App Service and Azure SQL on the back end. There was a fair bit of work getting everything up and running, but I’m still absolutely amazed by how intuitive and powerful Umbraco remains. Any feedback or tips are welcome! 😊
