Hey, I wanted to give you an update on this. I did not forget about you. Unfortunately, I had a day without Traycer because I tweaked something that screwed up my host, so I lost a good 24 hours right after we talked. That said, I was disgusted to see how long my agent selection sheet had gotten. I've pruned it down to the below: "# Agent sheet Updated 09-25 12:01Z · valid until 09-25 14:01Z · next update by 09-25 13:01Z | Task | Use now | Also available | | --- | --- | --- | | Orchestrator |

| When a spawn call does not pin an effort and the harness supports one, use xhigh as the default reasoning effort. Change it with `traycer-dial-level.mjs set`; the Codex Micro dial changes the pinned chat's own effort, not this default. Rules and routing table:
~/.traycer/agent-selection-rules.md
(read it before briefing; past the valid-until time, use its Routing table). " **Maybe the Traycer team could implement some of this as native tooling: **Previously, I created a local token monitor that tracks all of my AI subscriptions. The new step was is turning that token monitor into a "token optimizer." It now updates the agent selector sheet every hour, telling the orchestrator which to choose without reading tons of lines. The big change here is that, instead of a 100+ line agent sheet that keeps getting longer every time I recommend something, the token optimizer will instead update which agent should be used for any role at any time once per hour. Hopefully, this reduces waste from machine reading and guessing. 🤞
